Global Religion and the Great War

The Global Religion and the Great War Colloquium provided insight into how religion shaped and influenced the Great War.

Many thanks to our three external speakers Dr Adrian GregoryDr Patrick Houlihan and Dr Hussein Omar (Oxford) who presented on the following topics: 'Religion and the Balfour Declaration' (Prof Adrian Gregory) 'The Irony of Human Rights: Catholicism during the World War' (Dr Patrick Houlihan) 'Muslims and Minorities in the Middle East' (Hussein Omar).
