As part of the Great War: Unknown War programme, the Hartley Library Special Collections are pleased to announce their forthcoming exhibition 'My Ancestor: Their Story' which will run from October to December 2018.

A special exhibition about the First World War entitled ‘My ancestor: their story’ will go on show in the Level 4 Gallery, Hartley Library in October 2018.

This will run concurrently with the exhibition 'My War: My Story' in the Hartley Library.

If any University staff with ancestors who experienced the First World War, either on the home front or in the military, have material that they would like to share for this exhibition, then Special Collections would love to hear from you.

The exhibition will be a photographic one, featuring images of material, together with biographical details and information about the individuals featured.

Please contact us at Archives@soton.ac.uk. The closing date for offers of exhibits is 28 February.
