Our research breaks down traditional disciplinary boundaries within health law and ethics.
HEAL regularly contributes to consultations and debates informing policy-making within this field. We foster and develop productive collaborative relationships across the University of Southampton and the local NHS community.
We are working to bring together a nationally recognised interdisciplinary body of academics and health care professionals; many of our members are both scholars and practitioners.
Our ultimate aim is to establish an internationally recognised network, which reaches and influences health law and ethics beyond local and national borders.
