Joan Mahoney, Lecturer in Southampton Law School, Member
Joan researches on constitutional law, legal history, and constitutional issues of bioethics.
Joan published a book on ‘MI5, the Cold War, and the Rule of Law’ in May and presented her research at the University of Miami a month ago, which inspired her to write a short piece comparing aspects of our work to US law. Joan has also been working on an article on surrogacy and definitions of parenthood, specifically comparing, birth, genetic connection, and adoption as creating parenthood.
