SHTAC will be presenting research at two forthcoming University of Southampton events

Presentations will be made at the Faculty of Medicine Research Conference and at a special event organised by the Population Health University Strategic Research Group, both on the 12th June 2013.

Researchers from SHTAC will be presenting research findings at two University of Southampton events, on Wednesday 12th June.

At the Faculty of Medicine Research Conference (08:30 - 17:30 hours) held at Southampton General Hospital, Dr Geoff Frampton will present a poster on the results of a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Health Technology Assessment Programme funded research project ‘A systematic review and economic evaluation of the effectiveness and generality of education interventions for preventing catheter-related bloodstream infections in critical care'.

At Southampton Education School, The Population Health University Strategic Research Group (USRG) will be holding a special event entitled ‘Border crossings: Tackling health and education' (16.30 - 18.30 hours) to showcase innovative research projects that explore the potential of connecting health and education in different settings.  Dr Jonathan Shepherd will be giving a presentation based on the results of an NIHR Public Health Research Programme funded project ‘Factors facilitating and constraining the delivery of effective teacher training to promote health and well-being in schools: a survey of current practice and systematic review'.
