Posters showcasingSouthampton's best interdisciplinary research into new technologies to improve quality of life and address the global challenges facing us in healthcare

This is an excellent opportunity for networking over an enjoyable buffet lunch whilst being inspired by our exhibition. These interdisciplinary projects demonstrate the breadth of our work and the range of our collaborations across the university and with external partners.

There will be a welcome from Professor Jane Burridge, Chair of the Health Technologies USRG and a brief introduction from Professors Martin Browne and Richard Oreffo.

We will be selecting the 5 best posters submitted and asking each author to give a 3-minute pitch about the work. A prize will be awarded for the best pitch!

As well as the posters and lunch you will also have the opportunity to see a new wearable movement monitoring system called 'Physilog'. There will be a talk and demonstration of this technology in Building 45 immediately after the event.

Booking to attend this event is essential as the Observatory is limited to 70 places.
