Event details
Rehabilitation and Health Technologies Research Group invite you to an exciting Discovery Day!
Iterative Learning Control (ILC) has been shown to be highly effective when applied to stroke rehabilitation. Come and see it for yourself. Find out how recovering stroke patients can be helped to regain mobility.
How can reach and grasp be improved? we are developing a way of electrically stimulating the nerves to make the muscles move so that the person with a stroke can practice movements. They will do this either with their arm resting in a robot, playing compter games, or reaching and grasping everyday objects. Come along and try out the technology and see our research in action.
There is no charge but in order for us to be able to gauge the catering for the day we ask that you please REGISTER your attendance. Many thanks, and we look forward to greeting you on the day.
