Diane Gow is a Principal Teaching Fellow in Child Health Nursing, and Faculty Lead for Incidents in Practice. Her professional background is in Child and Adult Nursing, Medical Law, and conflict resolution. She specialises in human error and patient safety. Voted by students as outstanding lecturer of the year.

Faculty Lead for Student Support, Incidents in Practice

Diane developed and leads a support service for students who wish to raise concerns in practice or are involved in adverse events. The service was cited as outstanding by the NMC and features in the 2013 Govt Review of NHS Hospital Complaints as an example of excellence. Diane is also a member of Q community, working to improve health and care quality in the UK.
