Patient and Public Involvement Coordinator
Martin Simpson-Scott works in the Administrative Office as a Patient and Public Involvement Coordinator at NIHR CLAHRC Wessex, based at the University of Southampton.
Martin joined CLAHRC Wessex from IBM’s Client Innovation Centre UK, where he was employed as a Project Manager. With a diverse employment history and skillset that includes a background in HE marketing (including international student recruitment) and events, his role within CLAHRC Wessex comprises the coordination of our Patient Involvement (PPI) work, alongside the provision of general administrative support within the Central team. Having graduated with first class honours in BSc Podiatry in 2014, Martin is also an alumnus of the University of Southampton, School of Health Sciences. He has a further degree in Marine Biology and Coastal Ecology.
