Mr Martin Grant is Senior Teaching Fellow in Mental Health nursing within Health Sciences at the University of Southampton.

Mr Martin Grant is Senior Teaching Fellow in Mental Health nursing within Health Sciences at the University of Southampton. His professional background is mental health nursing within forensic and liaison psychiatry. He has also worked in various NHS organisations specialising in safeguarding and patient safety. These roles have included senior management within Acute Trusts, Mental Health Trusts, and Clinical Commissioning Groups. In addition to nursing, he trained in law. Following the completion of his law degree he wrote a research Masters in Mental Health Law and public protection, before training at the Bar. In 2013 he was Called to the Bar, the Honourable Society of Gray's Inn.
