Zoé is a Research Fellow within the Health Workforce and Systems (Health Work) research group at the University of Southampton.

To use micro-econometric methods to understand the impact of working conditions on the performance and well-being of health workforce.

Her research interests within the Health Workforce group is focussed on applying micro-econometric methods to understand the effects of working conditions on the performance and well-being of health workforce. She is currently working on a NIHR funded-project that will investigate the impact of nursing shift patterns in acute, community and mental health wards on work experience and patient outcomes.

Prior to joining Health Sciences, Zoé was a Research Fellow in Health Economics at the Health Economics Research Unit (HERU) at the University of Aberdeen. She applied a range of micro-econometric methods to investigate the behaviour and well-being of healthcare workforce (nurse, medical doctors) in area of mental health, work absence and retirement; as well as investigating public sector resource allocation to inform NHS funding in England.
