Dr Sophia Taylor MBBCh
Senior Research Assistant at the Macmillan Survivorship Research Group

Sophia Taylor is a Senior Research Assistant in the Macmillan Cancer Survivorship Research Group within Health Sciences at the University of Southampton. Sophia joined MSRG in 2016 to work on the RCRT feasibility study funded by the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. Sophia will be conducting qualitative interviews with study participants and healthcare professionals to find out their experiences of the study.
Sophia obtained a degree in Medicine (MBBCh) from Cardiff in 2012 and went on to work as a junior doctor at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
Sophia joined the Marie Curie Palliative Care Research Centre in 2013 to work on studies that aimed to improve the care for cancer patients who develop late effects following pelvic radiotherapy.
