Lecturer in Children’s Nursing

Sarah Reed is Lecturer in Childrens and Young Peoples nursing within Health Sciences, University of Southampton, contributing to education across the Undergraduate and Post Graduate Programmes including leadership of the ‘Recognising the deteriorating child’ module for registered health care professionals. Sarah’s clinical expertise centres upon care of the acutely sick child and their family. Sarah is passionate about involving children and young people in healthcare, leads upon enhancing their involvement in educational activities and is studying for a PhD looking at supporting children with asthma management in primary schools.
