The importance of patient and public involvement (PPI) is borne out by many healthcare professional bodies (Eg NMC and the GMC) and encouraged by reports such as the mid staffs enquiry. My doctorate is exploring the impact of PPI within an academic culture.
Lead role: Patient and Public Involvement.
Trevor's role includes development and implementation of a comprehensive patient and public involvement (PPI) strategy for Health Sciences. Trevor also formed the Experts by Experience (EbE) reference group which meets quarterly.
