Hi, I'm Greg Walters and I studied Diploma in Nursing, adult branch within Health Sciences at the University of Southampton.

There were occasions when the course was really hard going but there has always been someone to help me through it and I’m so glad I chose to study here.

I chose the University of Southampton because I'd heard it had a very good reputation for nursing and that encouraged me to apply here rather than anywhere else.

I had six placements on my course which offered a wide range of experiences. I definitely think these experiences over the three years has been invaluable in helping me progress my career in the area I've chosen to specialise in.

I'd like to finish my degree and continue to masters level.  I'm currently working as a nurse in a care home but I've just secured my dream job at Oxford Radcliffe ITU and I'm really looking forward to starting my career there.
