The Faculty announces the launch of Working Papers in the Health Sciences . This new open access peer-reviewed e journal will showcase the work of emerging health care scholars and is designed to help undergraduate and post graduate health care professionals publish early stage academic work of a high standard.

Health Sciences is going for an Athena SWAN Silver Award this month.  Athena SWAN is the Charter for women in science recognising commitment to advancing women's careers in STEMM academia. The new Health and Pharma website to support the new USIT (University Sector Industry Team) has recently launched featuring a Health Sciences research page.

Congratulations go to Chris McLean who successfully defended his doctoral thesis ‘Thinking about patients and talking about persons in critical care nursing' and to Hayden Kirk who had a successful viva and made an excellent defence of his DClin research.
