On Tuesday of this week BBC South Today interviewed Ann-Marie Hughes about her work in stroke rehabilitation research using stimulation to help the affected muscles move and work again.

Our research into cancer patient care experience in hospitals has been published in the Journal of Health Services Research & Policy.   The report, authored by Professor Peter Griffiths, shows that patients of better staffed hospitals are more likely to report being given more emotional support by nurses who work well together on wards.

Nursing Times has also covered the story and Peter has been interviewed by Wave FM, BBC Radio Solent and Jack FM today.  Expect to see more in the press over the next few days.

The MS upper limb research event: Recent and current initiatives is open to all people with MS (PwMS) who have upper limb impairment and their family/friends as well as all healthcare professionals with an interest in PwMS. The event is FREE and takes place on Thursday, 13th June from 12 noon to 2pm.
