A team led by Dr Jo Adams has had its work on health literacy published in Arthritis Care & Research . The team has undertaken a systematic review of the effectiveness of musculoskeletal education interventions in people with lower literacy where high quality evidence is lacking.

Wendy Lowe has had her work on the intersection of health professional education and practice published in the Health Education Journal . Within it Wendy explores the meaning of complexity in practice through the use of unresolved tensions between participants' identification as educated health professionals and their actual experience in the workforce.

The Isle of Wight's ‘ On the Wight' is joining in with Health Sciences' appeal for photographs for contribution to our exhibition to celebrate 30 years of nursing. The exhibition is shaping up very nicely in the foyer of building 67. Nursing badges and books from the past are currently on display with costumed mannequins growing by the hour.

A blog site for Musculoskeletal Research in Health Sciences has been set up by Dr Martin Warner and his team at the Arthritis Research UK Centre for Sport, Exercise and Osteoarthritis to help publicise and share the work the goes on within this research cluster group. Lots more will be added to the site as it develops.
