Professor Jessica Corner will feature in the next issue of EONS (European Oncology Nursing Society) magazine which will be available online soon.  Within it Jessica reflects on her twenty years of cancer nursing research.

Undergraduate Adult Nursing student Katy Elliott is scheduled to appear on the Guardian Careers' website. Katy will be featured as part of a snapshot of different nurse's jobs which will be published on the website on Monday for Nurses' Day.

Health Sciences PhD student Tracey Davies has set up a charity, THEY are Africa, to support young people to realise their dreams and potential by helping them in their education. Tracey decided on a change of career to study nursing after a trip to Africa.  She recently completed her PGDip in Adult Nursing and is currently working in clinical practice as part of her PhD. www.theyareafrica.org

The Health Humanities Special Interest group has organised a visiting lecture on the 13th of May from Professor David Pilgrim entitled 'Critical and conservative aspects of arts and mental health research'. David is a published author and Professor of Health and Social Policy at the University of Liverpool.  The lecture will take place at 4.30pm in room 1101 of building 29.
