Liz Cluett has written a piece for The Conversation answering the question ‘should we be worrying about using birthing pools’ following the recent story about a baby contracting Legionnaire’s from one. The answer is no if you do not pre fill pools and keep them hot. Liz was lead reviewer on the Cochrane review into outcomes from immersion in water during labour and birth
