Congratulations to Aimie Bellwood, Chris Bailey, Maggie Donovan-Hall, Trevor Kettle and Jo Watson, who, on the wet and windy morning of Sunday 29th March, completed the inaugural Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon. Conditions were far from ideal, with very strong headwinds in the final section, and the planned post-run picnic had to be abandoned due to the weather, but they were all very pleased with their achievements on the day.

The Bachelor of Nursing team will be presenting two papers at this year’s NET (networking for education in healthcare) conference, both of which are about our work enhancing knowledge and skills with regard to the care of vulnerable people. Kevin Humphrys is presenting a paper on his e-learning resource on Autism, and Kim Bezzant is presenting on our ‘safeguarding rotation’ placement for final year students.
