Congratulations to Dr Lindsey Cherry who recently completed the ‘Blacklight’ charity run for Arthritis Research UK alongside some clinical colleagues from Solent NHS Trust and the Department of Rheumatology, Portsmouth Hospitals Trust. The run was completed at night, with various colour stations to pass through. All the money raised will go towards future research to help people with arthritis. Lindsey has raised £150 so far. Following last week’s news that the Bachelor of Nursing team will be presenting at this year’s NET (networking for education in healthcare) conference , we can also announce that principle author Jan Davis will be presenting work entitled ‘Grading in practice: can we reliably address grade inflation? Results of implementing a statistical tool to reliably measure performance in practice’, with co-authors Professor Daniel Muijs and Dr Mary Gobbi.
