Two Health Science subjects ranked in UK top ten

Recent University league tables show two Southampton Health Science subjects ranked in the UK top ten.

Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physiotherapy programmes at Southampton are ranked in the top ten in the UK.

The Complete University Guide 2019 reveals that Physiotherapy has risen to 3rd place from 29th last year, while Occupational Therapy (OT) - which is new to the tables - has entered at 4th.

Interim Head of Allied Health Practice at Southampton, Dr Julian Pearce, said: “We are delighted that both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy have ranked so highly in the Complete University Guide 2019. It is recognition of the high-quality research-led education that we provide here at Southampton and the calibre of the graduates that leave us ready to contribute to and help shape the healthcare services of today.”
