We’re delighted to announce details of our annual International Women’s Day Lecture Helping women access better healthcare with Dr Kizanne James-McCarthy on Tuesday 7 March.
Imagine a world free of bias and discrimination – a world that’s diverse, equitable and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. This year, the theme for International Women’s Day is ‘Embrace Equity’ and we are delighted to invite you to hear from an outstanding speaker whose work embodies this theme. Winner of the 2022 Alumni Rising Star Award, Kizanne is a women’s rights and health activist and a physician with a passion for global health.
During the online event you will have the opportunity to delve into Kizanne’s hugely successful career, hear about her work helping disadvantaged women around the world access better healthcare, and understand how she’s overcome her own barriers along the way.
