We invite you to the launch of the No Limits| Reimagining Life with Dementia © Educational Resource and drinks reception at Turner Sims, Highfield Campus, University of Southampton on Thursday 6th September 2012 (5.30pm - 7.30pm).

The launch is for anyone with an interest in people with dementia and/or the arts.

The programme for the evening is as follows:

5.30                Welcome by Ruth Bartlett (University of Southampton) and Agnes Houston (Chair of the Scottish Dementia Working Group)

5.45                Overview of the Project and Resource 

6.00                Screening of Agnes & Nancy - a short documentary film by Anne Milne

6.30                Questions and discussion

6.45                Drinks reception

7.30                Depart

The Resource is for any individual or group with an interest in and/or whose role it is to educate others about people with dementia. It covers the following topics:

  • Seeing dementia as a journey
  • Active citizenship, diversity, and well being
  • Nurturing friendships and peer support between people with dementia
  • Creating a ‘dementia-friendly' society

Copies of the Resource will be available on the evening
