Event details

This event is aimed at people with MS (PwMS) who have upper limb impairment and their family/friends as well as all healthcare professionals with an interest in PwMS.

Increase your knowledge by attending presentations and workshops by local research experts and hear further information via podcast from internationally known experts.

Presentation topics:

  • What we know about MS arm rehabilitation and treatment.
  • Information about combined treatment using robots with functional electrical stimulation (FES) of the arm and how this system has benefitted people with stroke.
  • Current research initiatives.

Workshop topics:

  • Overview of the Armeo-spring "robot".
  • See FES working.
  • A chance to try the workstation (Armeo and FES).
