About Tim
An award-winning surgeon and Medical Research Council clinician scientist, Tim Underwood is an upper gastrointestinal specialist at Southampton, combining surgical practice with research to improve patients' outcomes and oesophageal cancer diagnosis, treatment and care. Tim is also a trustee of Heartburn Cancer Awareness & Support, and is running the 2013 New York Marathon with colleagues to raise £100,000 for Cancer Research UK.
