New website for the Faculty

You may be aware of a project known as SIA (Standardised Information Architecture) which was essentially kicked off by isolutions a few years ago to get all of the Faculties onto one web structure. Across the University there were sHaving one web structure across all Faculties and the ability to use shared content across the site was identified as a huge benefit, delivering both time and financial efficiencies.

The work involved in this project has been with the bulk of it taking place over the Winter months when Jane Davies came on board to start the mapping process and doing the actual build.

All parties across Health Sciences have been brilliant in providing us updated information, updating content and ensuring all sections are giving the right information.

Thank you to all in the Faculty who have been engaged in the process. An even bigger thank you to Jane who has been amazing in her tenacity to getting this project completed, in such good time and overcoming all of the obstacles that were in the way. We are pleased to announce that Jane will be joining Pauline Morgan's team as a Project Co-ordinator for the pre-arrival website project later in the summer.

We hope that you find the website an improvement on the previous site. It will develop further as we go through the year to ensure that we keep it fresh and that our content adds value to all of our audiences.

We will also be rolling out a plan for updating the site which will involve a small team of people being responsible for owning content and by using a central resource for the actual updating. More on this to follow.
