Exciting opportunity for first year students

AMECA charity founder Ruthie Marcus came to launch an exciting new challenge for year one students.  AMECA is a charity set up to provide medical education and care in African communities and is working with the Faculty to launch a challenge!

Working with AMECA and Really Wild we will be setting up a challenge for students to raise money to start a project in Ghana with the opportunity for some students to visit the country and make a real contribution to a local community there.

There are six £1,000 bursaries for year one students up for grabs.  If you are interested, please speak to your learning group representative or Sue Faulds who is leading the project..

You can get in touch with Sue via: sjf2@soton.ac.uk / 023 80 59 7952 (internal 27952) / 07770657929 / Skype: sjfaulds
