Research project: Principles of Care - Dormant - Dormant

Currently Active:

The ‘Principles of Therapeutic Care’ investigated clinician’s views of a new worker role in mental health secondary care services and developed the research conducted on trainee perceptions and experiences of this new worker role.

The effectiveness of PWP LI interventions will analyse secondary data in order to look at the outcomes of this intervention and it will collect primary data on service user views of PWP work.

The ‘family management of cancer cachexia related problems’ aims to develop a complex intervention to help families understand the change in roles and attachment patterns at the end of life.

This project provides data on the challenges of introducing a new worker role into secondary care services in mental health.
