Regardless of whether they choose to pursue a career in clinical practice, healthcare management, research, or a combination of these, graduates of Health Science are always viewed as vital and valued practitioners, partners and leaders in the delivery of care.
100% of our Nursing students were in employment or further study six months after graduation*. This figure was 90%* for our Allied Health Professions graduates in the same year.
At Health Sciences we also have our own Careers Fair in March every year where we invite key stakeholders, partners and local businesses to come and meet our students. This event goes from strength to strength each year, this years event attracted over 25 exhibitors including NHS Direct, Bupa and the Royal Navy. We also hold career study days where you get help on writing applications, CV's and interview techniques. We really do give you the best possible chances to gain employment at the end of your studies.
