Happy memories and future plans. History graduates speak out

After years of hard work, University of Southampton’s History students celebrated their success at the 2012 summer graduation ceremony.
They gathered with family and friends to enjoy strawberries and cream and share memories with academic staff. Some were planning further study, others embarking on their careers straightaway. All felt studying History was an enjoyable experience and, even more importantly, gave them a good grounding in the work-related skills they will need in later life.
We caught up with some of our happy graduates after the ceremony to find out more about their time at Southampton and their plans for the future.
