Staff achievement award

Staff Achievement Awards are designed to reward outstanding achievements from our staff across all levels and roles.
The Staff Achievement Award scheme is intended to reward those who can demonstrate outstanding achievement or excellence of a short-term nature, above and beyond what is required of their usual role and which is of such a high standard that it has made a difference to our students, customers, colleagues, the department or the University as a whole.

Recommendations which are supported by Faculty/Professional Service senior leadership, will be considered by the University Staff Achievement Award panel, chaired by the President and Vice-Chancellor. Recommendations for awards of up to £1,000 can be made.

Staff Achievement Award panels are held monthly. On receipt of your completed recommendation, the Reward and Recognition team will confirm which panel your submission will be considered on.

Please note that Staff Achievement Awards are paid via salary and are subject to tax and National Insurance deductions.
