Vice-Chancellor's Awards Inspiration

Nomination hints and tips

The Vice-Chancellor's Awards celebrate the work of our staff whose creativity, passion and exceptional skills bring our strategy to life.

Although we understand there will never be a 'perfect fit' when it comes to selecting an award category, please take time to review the full list and select the one you believe best suits the person(s) you want to nominate.

Be clear how the individual/team has gone above and beyond their daily duties.  Try to focus on achievements since June 2021.

Include data and analytics to back up statements (where possible).  If you're finding it difficult to source this information, you could speak to the individual/team's line manager(s).

You've got 200 words to use, make your points short, sharp and evidenced.

This being said, if you'd like to take time crafting a nomination, we recommend you do in Microsoft Word or a similar programme, until you're ready to paste it into Microsoft Forms.
