Ms Wendy Jones is a Senior Teaching Fellow in English for Academic Purposes in Modern Languages at the University of Southampton.

I have had extensive and varied experience of managing, designing and teaching language courses to a wide range of nationalities from all corners of the world whilst based in the UK and in Europe.

B.A. (Hons) in French Language & Literature, P.G.C.E. in Modern Languages and English, RSA/UCLES Diploma in TEFLA, Graduate Diploma in Law (C.P.E.)

Since joining the University of Southampton in 2005, I have been involved in teaching and leading pre-sessional, in-sessional and credit-bearing English language courses to pre-undergraduates (International Foundation Year), undergraduates and post-graduates.

I am currently coordinator for the English Plus Year Abroad Programme; coordinator for the English Language for the Junior Year Abroad module; coordinator for the English Language Stages; coordinator & tutor for English Stage 4; tutor on the English Academic Studies (International Foundation Year); coordinator & tutor for English for Law (International Foundation Year) and I also contribute to various other courses which run throughout the year. During the summer Pre-Sessional Programme, I organise and carry out observations of Pre-Sessional staff.
