Latest digital technologies will be employed by archaeologist Dr Graeme Earl to highlight several major projects, which have been funded through the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, and show the value of collaborations between science and the humanities.

He will set up screens at both Avenue and Highfield campuses in early 2011 to demonstrate the University’s unique track record and facilities in the digital capture and presentation of cultural heritage information. The exhibitions will include material on more than 20 years of archaeological computing, the expertise in eLanguages, digital music, projects in History and English and other grant funded work in Humanities and the School of Electronics and Computer Science.

Graeme Earl
has secured £43,000 from the University's EPSRC Pathways to Impact Award to set up the displays.
