Will May awarded CCUE book prize

 Dr Will May is this year's winner of the Council for College and University English prize for early career researchers. The CCUE prize is awarded annually for the best scholarly book in the field of English studies by an early-career academic within 5 years of their doctorate.

Will May's book, Stevie Smith and Authorship (Oxford University Press, 2010; see http://eprints.soton.ac.uk/67574/) was described by the CCUE judges as an exceptional achievement and one that demonstrated important new ways of approaching Smith's work.
