University of Southampton Alumni ensemble
After the Rain is an experimental ensemble consisting of University of Southampton Music Department alumni, Hossein Hadisi, Ignacio Agrimbau and Joseph Kelly. The music of After the Rain is based on improvisatory journeys inspired by the ethnomusicological research conducted by its members, ranging from Persian music to Dagara music of Ghana. In their new visit to Turner Sims, the ensemble will be playing some of their most recent pieces prior to the release of their album.
