Composers at the Piano Event

Come and hear five of Southampton's foremost composers performing their own works at the piano, with live electronics, in the renowned Turner Sims at the University of Southampton.

This "open recording" features premieres of works by five original and distinctive composers: Ignacio Brasa, Tom Green, George Holloway, Benjamin Mawson, and Alexandros Spyrou.

After the performance, legendary composer, pianist and lecturer Michael Finnissy will lead a relaxed and informal discussion of the music with the performers and the audience, giving you the chance to ask questions and give your reactions to the music.
