A contemporary concert with music from the 21st century.
The Worker's Union Ensemble formed in 2008 at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and is committed to pushing the boundaries of contemporary music through close collaboration with both up-and-coming and established composers.
This concert will feature an interpretation of Michael Finnissy’s
Young Brethren
as well as four works written especially for the ensemble by Adam Fergler, Ryan Latimer, Benjamin Oliver and Matthew Kaner.
The concert will be followed by a composition workshop for MMus composers studying at the University of Southampton.
