This thought provoking and inspiring conference will provide you with the opportunity to learn and engage in discussion about Nietzsche from academics of international distinction.

This thought provoking day will provide you with the opportunity to learn and engage in discussion about Friedrich Nietzsche from academics of international distinction.

Friedrich Nietzsche attacked some of our most deep-seated intuitions about human life: he fiercely criticised traditional conceptions of value, of freedom of the will, of the self, of science, of the arts, of the significance of religious belief and, above all, of morality. In their place, he extolled human greatness, the possibility of self-creation, the capacity to affirm ‘the eternal recurrence' and, among the virtues, honesty and courage. But who was this remarkable man, and what does his positive vision of an alternative way of life amount to?
