Presenting some of the Music Department's highest-achieving performers

Students from the Music Department at the University of Southampton perform short programmes as part of a new professional SHOWCASE series.

The University of Southampton Music Department has developed a new Southampton SHOWCASE programme, providing professional training and opportunities for our advanced undergraduate and postgraduate performers. Our SHOWCASE Series, part of our established professional lunchtime concert series, is a platform from which we hope these performers will gain professional performing experience and exposure. In addition to promoting and managing university and external bookings, we organise workshops on fees, contracts, working with agencies, and other topics that can help our students prepare themselves for successful freelance or portfolio musical careers.
