Event details

On 1 December, Music at Southampton will be hosting El Chojín, the Spanish hip hop artist known for both his social critique and for holding the Guinness World Record for the most syllables rapped in one minute. Dr Stuart Green (University of Leeds) who researches Spanish hip hop and racism will be accompanying him. They will be speaking about their work. Everyone welcome!

We are grateful to Music at Southampton, the Association of Hispanists (AHGBI) and Stuart Green (University of Leeds) who organised El Chojin's AHGBI Visiting International Fellowship Award enabling him to visit the University of Leeds, the Institute of Modern Languages Research, School of Advanced Study, University of London, and the University of Southampton.
