Event details

Clarinetist Hannah Shilvock is widely regarded as a rising star within the region and combines her music studies at the University of Southampton with performing across a number of venues in the South East.

A member of the National Youth Wind Orchestra, Hannah has also performed with many orchestras in the area as both a soloist and ensemble member. To set the scene for audiences of ‘The Magic Flute’ at NST’s campus venue, Hannah will be playing a mixture of classical pieces, including extracts from Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto as a fitting tribute to the composer of ‘The Magic Flute’, in the café bar for an hour before the performance and also during the interval. Hannah will be appearing with her accompanist, Dan Keen. To hear some of Hannah’s previous performances, you can find her on Youtube.

There are still tickets available for the OperaUpClose production of The Magic Flute – prices start from £10 and can be purchased through the box office or online.
