Both perception and mental imagery are fundamental to our lives.
But in what precise respects do the two have a common nature? For instance, to what extent are core functional, phenomenological and neurobiological properties of perception shared by mental imagery (and vice versa)? In this one-day interdisciplinary conference, philosophers and psychologists will join together at Southampton to discuss these, and other, foundational questions about perception, mental imagery and the various relations between them.
