Event details

Part of a series of talks organised with City Art Gallery.

Summer of Love: Who and what should we love, and how much?

Universal love is often regarded as an admirable ideal. But is it really possible to love everyone? Should we really aspire to love everyone equally? Do we have any choice in the things and people that we love? Should we strive to proportion our love for each person and thing to the degree to which they possess loveable features? This talk will explore some answers to these questions.

These series of talks are linked to the "Four Season" exhibition at the City Art Gallery from 3 February to 21 April 2018. The talks are free of charge to attend.
