You are cordially invited to the F. T. Prince Memorial Lecture which will be given by Kei Miller.

In this special event, Kei Miller reads from his new collection In Nearby Bushes, and discusses his work and poetic practice.

Kei Miller is a poet, novelist, essayist, short story writer and a broadcaster. In 2014, his collection The Cartographer Tries to Map a Way to Zion won the Forward Prize for Best Collection. In April 2017, he won the OCM Bocas Prize for Caribbean Literature for his novel Augustown. In 2010, the Institute of Jamaica awarded him the Silver Musgrave medal for his contributions to Literature. His most recent collection, In Nearby Bushes, was published by Carcanet in 2019.

This event will be introduced by Professor Mary Hammond, and chaired by Dr Will May.

Refreshments will be served from 17:30 and the lecture will be followed by a drinks reception.
