Explore the world of the humanities at the University of Southampton, like you have never seen it before!

Join researchers, community groups and artists on Saturday 19th November, 10:30 – 16:30, for a family-friendly day out packed with free live activities and events suitable for all ages.

Get ready to: adventure through the stars in the Soton Astrodome, walk around an archaeological site in Minecraft and Assassin’s Creed, and be surrounded by Monarch butterflies in the Digital Humanities Igloo. Also be prepared to: immerse yourself in the Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations, unearth artifacts, discover more about modern monarchy, and get creative while speaking on the radio or writing a poem or letter.

From archaeology, history and philosophy to modern languages, linguistics, writing and music, through to the arts, along with a pinch of science.

Attendance is free, but registration through Eventbrite is required. The venue is located close to Southampton Common, is fully wheelchair accessible and well connected to the city centre by bus.

Visit the Southampton Arts and Humanities festival website and follow UoS Engagement on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to find out more and stay updated with the event.
