Event details

Although aimed primarily at MA and PhD students in Film Studies, the series is equally open to anyone interested in film and TV as both art and popular entertainment.

Our regular graduate seminar series is a vital part of our thriving research culture. Through our programme of visiting speakers we introduce you to the most exciting developments in film and media scholarship, while also providing a supportive context for presentation and discussion of your own research interests.

The atmosphere in seminars is informal, with an emphasis on friendly debate and exploration of ideas.

Papers usually run for approx 45 minutes, followed by a question and answer session. Wine and soft drinks will be available.
