Our early career staff are integral to the continued success of our academic disciplines. We aim to support them in their research and teaching activities and to assist them in engaging with the wider agendas of higher education and their own particular career pathway.
We have early career researchers in all of our seven disciplines, working as postdoctoral researchers, research assistants or as junior lecturers. We are keen to support those in the early stages of their career, supporting bids for funding and offering internal opportunities to get collaborative projects started, such as our small awards scheme. While with us, early career researchers are provided with tailored professional training and support to complement and enhance their work.
